Seminar On Connect and Thrive

The Peer Facilitators’ Circle (PFC) successfully conducted a seminar entitled “Connect and Thrive” with the theme “Building Bridges and Reach Goals in a Positive School Climate” last October 15, 2025, at Jaime’s Hall (MTHI), Mariners’ Polytechnic Colleges, Inc. The activity was participated in by Senior High School students from both Grade 11 and Grade 12. This meaningful event was spearheaded by Ma’am Adelaida M. Deizmo, RGC, and facilitated by the members of the Peer Facilitators’ Circle. The seminar featured three speakers from the organization — Ariel John F. Vargas, Kent Warren O. Cervantes, and Cezar Jr. F. De Jesus — who shared valuable insights on leadership, communication, and teamwork. The Peer Facilitators’ Circle sincerely extends its gratitude to all the participants for their active participation, presence, and attentiveness throughout the activity. Your enthusiasm and engagement greatly contributed to the success of the event. Likewise, heartfelt thanks are extended to our speakers for their time, dedication, and for imparting their knowledge and experiences that truly inspired everyone to connect and thrive in a positive school climate.

First Wednesday Mass

Naga City, August 6, 2025 — Mariners Polytechnic Colleges, Inc. (MPCI) Naga marked the First Wednesday Mass of the Month with a meaningful celebration attended by students, faculty, and staff. Presided over by Fr. Daniel Vegas, the Mass served as a moment for prayer, spiritual renewal, and unity within the MPCI community. Following the solemn celebration, a blessing ceremony was held for the new Registrar’s Office, Office for Financial Affairs (OFA), and two newly air-conditioned classrooms—signaling continuous improvements in the campus facilities for the benefit of both learners and personnel.

Career Talk for AFP

Mariners’ Polytechnic Colleges, Inc. (MPCI) Naga, hosted a Career Talk for Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) personnel on August 5, 2025 at 9th infantry division, Pili, Camarines Sur. The event aimed to introduce academic and technical-vocational opportunities tailored to the needs of military personnel and their dependents. The session featured presentations on Mariners’ course offerings, modular learning options, and career development pathways. It also highlighted the exclusive scholarship grants provided by the AFP to eligible personnel and their dependents. This initiative further strengthens the partnership between MPCI and the AFP, aligned with the school’s mission to educate, train, and assist future professionals, including active military members and their families.
